How a course day runs

From brief to live, step by step

Each session follows the same rhythm a professional crew uses on a show day.

  1. Brief

Your tutor walks through the rundown, the running order and who is doing what.

  2. Line-up

Check cameras, sources, audio and graphics so the gallery is ready before anyone goes live.

  3. Rehearse

Run the show against the clock until switching and cues feel natural.

  4. Go live

Take your seat for a real live run with countdowns, talkback and nowhere to hide.

  5. Review

Watch the recording back with your tutor and pick out what to sharpen next.

  6. Reset

Swap seats, reset the gallery and try the next position with fresh eyes.
